CiS Forschungsinstitut presents itself successfully at InnoCON Thuringia 2019

Developing infrared radiators based on silicon technologies at significantly lower component costs compared to established optical gas sensors is an innovative idea from the CiS Forschungsinstitut. Dr. Martin Schädel briefly and concisely explained the technological challenges of the project under the title: TeSIS - Textured Blackbody MEMS IR Radiators. With 33 presentations from the RIS 3 fields as well as a poster exhibition and InnoMARKT, InnoCON forms a platform that presents inspirations and successful projects and invites you to network under this year's motto Intelligent.Digital.Networked in Erfurt.

Together with all other business-related research institutions, CiS presented two further highlights from its research and development activities at the joint stand of the FTVT. A barometric pressure sensor for biotechnology and medical technology as well as a time-of-flight camera module, which facilitates the development of specific depth detection systems and thus reduces innovation cycles, were presented.

Here CiS Forschungsinstitut serves the core competence of assembly and connection technology as well as the entire spectrum from customer-specific individual assembly to small series production with innovative special solutions and standard assembly technologies.

The Minister of Economics, Wolfgang Tiefensee, also visited the FTVT stand together with representatives of the State Development Company and other associations. The FTVT had also launched the initiative getstartet2gether in order to offer innovative founders the opportunity to implement their ideas in a market-effective way together with the research institutions in Thuringia, which are close to the economy. This innovation pool is a further building block for networking Thuringian companies and taking up new ideas.
