Projekt: Optimized development environment for resource-efficient microsensor prototyping (OPENSENS)
Project No.: 2022 WIN 0044
Due to the increasing scarcity of resources, the Thuringian economy is faced with new challenges. With this investment in fully automated parameter acquisition of single sensor elements at wafer level and the associated evaluation, interpretation and process adaptation, the CIS Research Institute will establish important cornerstones of process control in the field of prototype production. This powerful, fast parameter optimization will support resource-saving development processes in the future and realize the implementation in a short time with high precision. The project is supported by funding from the state of Thuringia.
The grant of €610,000 is earmarked for investments in a research-related infrastructure. The project belongs to the specialization field “Industrial Production and Systems” of RIS3 Thuringia and concerns the key objectives “LIPS 1.2: Thuringia is a leading region in Europe in 2020 for the development and application of flexible and efficient processes, systems as well as technologies for individualizable products” and LIS 1.3: Thuringia is a globally established region in 2020 in the field of sensor and measurement technology for industrial production”.
The project “Future-proof development environment of coating technologies for large-area substrates (ZEBS)” is funded by the Free State of Thuringia with state funds under the number 2022 WIN 0044.
