| Description: | Instead of expensive sputtering targets and technologies for the application of low-resistance heater structures and special materials for IR emitters, low-cost, screen-printable thick-film pastes were to be evaluated for their applicability as heater and/or emitter layers. Using selected paste systems, basic technological investigations were carried out to minimize the print structure and to compare single-sided and double-sided paste printing on silicon membranes with conventional PVD-based IR emitters. | |
