Intelligent development environment for flexible and fast microsensor prototyping (II)
German title: | Intelligente Entwicklungsumgebung für flexibles und schnelles Mikrosensorik-Prototyping (II)
Acronym: | IESP | |
Duration: | 1st February 2018 - 31st January 2019
Description: | The planned investments are integrated into the continuous development process, which aims to realize a process chain for microsystem prototype production that is continuously automated in large sections. In this context, it is important to record process parameters and system status values in particular, which are the prerequisite for effective parameter adaptation. The evaluation and detection of interdependencies of the individual data form the basis for a fast and targeted process optimization. Thus, new developments in the field of microsensor technology can be implemented in the shortest possible time. Quality and process indicators close to one are the goal of every company and follow the "right first time" approach. The planned investments include another significant step towards networking research and development on technologies, process steps and materials for microsystem technology prototyping. The development of a "Smart Microsystems Technology Fab" for prototype developments as a research field will be further advanced. The rapid and innovative implementation of future-oriented solution proposals in the field of microsystems technology is the prerequisite for supporting the development potential of Thuringian SMEs. This is the only way to meet the dynamic requirements of the world market and to provide the industrial partners in Thuringia with optimum support in the various development phases.
