| Description: | Simulations of the design and properties of MEMS devices are an essential part of cost- and time-efficient manufacturing. Existing differences in the calculations of conductivities and piezoelectric coefficients under uniaxial stress are to be eliminated by applying stochastic methods (Monte Carlo simulations). Special consideration is given here to physical descriptions of the scattering processes of charge carriers and their doping and temperature dependencies. | |
