The CiS Research Institute would like to address new fields of application for miniaturized multisensor systems. In this project, the use of such systems for very thin and difficult-to-access channels will be investigated. Especially when searching for damage, the installation work does not always correspond to the documentation, thus making it considerably more difficult to locate the underground damage. A customized multi-sensor system to be developed as an inspection tool will support the decision-making process for adequate solutions. This innovation voucher will create the conditions for an application to the “ZIM” R&D funding program.
The project is part of the “Sustainable Energy and Resource Use” specialization field of the Regional Innovation Strategy for Smart Specialization and Economic Change in Thuringia (RIS Thuringia).
