Within the framework of an innovation voucher of the RTI guideline, the CiS Research Institute was able to commission GMBU e.V. (Jena) with preparatory measures for future joint projects. The activities belong to the specialization field Healthy Living and Health Economy of RIS3 Thuringia and concern the key objective LGLG1.1 (“In Thuringia, leading solutions in analytics, diagnostics, monitoring and therapy for medical applications and for healthy nutrition are created.”).

Based on the “MORES” technology (micro-optical remission sensor) developed at the CiS Research Institute, new application fields in the field of medical and biological diagnostics are identified. Possible applications range from vital parameter monitoring, diagnosis of skin diseases, reduced perfusion and wound classification as well as continuous monitoring of therapy and healing processes.
