Project: Improving sustainability in the production and operation of silicon sensors (InnoPrepare)
Project-No.: 2024 IIP 0005
01.07.2024 -30.04.2025
The planned collaboration will focus on increasing sustainability in the production and use of silicon sensors in specific applications. In a first step, a comprehensive data analysis of the research and development achievements of the CiS Research Institute in the field of silicon-based sensor technology will be carried out. To this end, innovations and their impact on improved sustainability in the production and application of sensors will be developed, compared with market requirements and a list of priorities drawn up. A consortium of research and industry partners will then be set up to prepare a project application at federal level.
The scope of the service amounts to € 49,700.00 in the performance period from 01.07.2024 to 30.04.2025.
The grant is earmarked for preparatory activities for the joint R&D project with the topic “Improving sustainability in the production and operation of silicon sensors” for the application in the federal R&D funding program “Microelectronics research by joint partners within the framework of the Joint Undertaking KDT”.
The project is part of the specialization field “Industrial Production and Systems” of the Regional Innovation Strategy for Intelligent Specialization and Economic Change in Thuringia (RIS Thuringia).
