The more than 700 participants put in a great performance at the 37th Erfurt Triathlon on Sunday, August 24, 2025, at the beautiful Stotternheim lido near Erfurt. After many individual competitions, the time had finally come at 3 p.m. In beautiful late summer weather, the competition between the 23 participating teams in the sprint relay triathlon began. Five teams from the CiS Research Institute took on the sporting challenge of a 750-meter swim, 20-kilometer bike ride, and 5-kilometer run. Some of our athletes were participating in this exciting team event for the first time, together with friends, colleagues, and family.
We congratulate our fifteen team members and all participants in the Erfurt Triathlon on their sporting success.
