Current research results at the Sensor und Test in Nuremberg
/in Events, Jobs, MEMS, MOEMS, UVNext week, the SENSOR+TEST in Nuremberg will be one of the most important trade fairs to present current development results as well as to maintain and establish new contacts to customers and partners. The CiS Research Institute is represented with its own booth in hall 1, booth 501 as well as three scientific contributions at the accompanying conference SMSI 2023 – Sensor and Measurement Science International. In addition, we will use the new recruiting offer of the Job Lounge to get to know interested applicants during two slots
Redundant temperature measurement and high-precision, piezoresistive angular rate sensors at Hannover Messe 2023
/in Events, MEMS, MOEMSAt Hannover Messe 2023, the CiS Research Institute will present current development results at the joint booth of LEG Thüringen in Hall 3 Booth H 26, including high-precision, piezoresistive angular rate sensor for autonomous offline navigation as well as redundant temperature sensors based on Si-temperature diodes and platinum resistance elements up to an operating temperature of 300 °C.
In hall 2, booth C 57, the CiS Research Institute is also present at the booth of the FTVT e.V.
Successful continuation of the “Stropos” project with Healyan
/in Events, Medical technology, MOEMSAt yesterday’s sixth edition of the technology competition “getstartet2gether”, the young startup Healyan was once again able to convince the jury of its concept and will continue the development of a low-cost stroboscopic therapy glasses together with the CiS Research Institute
Sensor development for sustainable and safe process control in industry
/in Events, MEMS, MOEMSUnder the motto “Sensor technology future trends and sensor impulses for industrial users” the Institute for Sensor and Actuator Technology of the Coburg University of Applied Sciences invites to the already 3rd Technology Day Applied Sensor Technology (TAS). On 9th March 2023, the CiS Research Institute participates with a technical lecture and a place in the accompanying exhibition
From microchip to gas sensor system
/in Events, IR, MOEMSOn 7th February 2023, from 9 to 11 AM, Dr. Martin Schädel, business manager MOEMS at CiS Research Institute will jointly present Steffen Biermann, director of development & industrial engineering at Micro-Hybrid Electronic, on the development “From Microchip to Gas Sensor System” in the current edition of the digital event series “Spotlights of Micro- and Nanotechnology
Shadow-free UV illumination for UVC LED-based disinfection of medical devices
/in Medical technology, MOEMS, Packaging, UVThe project “Shade-free UV illumination” involved the development of a technical solution for UVC-LED-based disinfection of medical devices, specifically endoscopes. By means of innovative assembly and connection techniques, an appropriate heat management was achieved
Diamond as a sensory element and its properties and applications
/in MOEMS, QuantumOver a period of three and a half years, the project team in the BMBF joint project “DiaQuantFab – Diamond Materials for Industrial Applications” investigated and developed optical microsensor systems based on NV centers in diamond. A holistic approach was taken along the value chain from diamond production and manipulation to the finished sensor system. The selected sensor systems were magnetic field sensors for the application areas of position measurement technology, scanning probe microscopy as well as current measurement.
Implantable silicon dosimeters for radiation therapy
/in Medical technology, MOEMS, Simulation & DesignBased on pulse-sensitive electronics, biocompatible implantable silicon dosimeters for radiation therapy could be developed in the R&D project SiDo at the CiS Research Institute. In vivo dosimeters based on this technology can measure the radiation exposure in the immediate vicinity of a carcinoma during radiation therapy
Visit us at COMPAMED 2022
/in Events, Medical technology, MOEMSNext week, the COMPAMED will take place in Düsseldorf from November 14 to 17, 2022. The CiS Research Institute will be represented with a booth (H23.4) in hall 8A at the IVAM joint booth. In addition, Dr. Martin Schädel, Business Unit Manager MOEMS, will report on “Silicon-based Microsensors for Medical & Health Care Applications” in his presentation at the COMPAMED HIGH-TECH FORUM
