Optical sensors and measurement systems are based on the combination of light receivers and optical elements – in general, the interaction of semiconductor detectors and optical assemblies mechanically aligned to them. 3D structuring possibilities in semiconductors allow a new approach, which not only increases the degree of miniaturization but also the performance of such assemblies to a higher level.
In this 60-minute webinar, Dr. Andreas Winzer and Dr. Martin Schädel will use illustrative examples to report on the variety of new optical sensor solutions using technologies for 3D processing of silicon.
