Together with project partners in the BMBF-funded growth core “VIPO”, we are working on virtual product and process optimization for monitoring rotating machines. This involves linking real-time information from sensor networks with detailed product and process simulation using correlation models in the digital twin
The CiS Research Institute is participating with 2 contributions at the Technology Symposium of the Growth Core VIPO on 09.07.2021. The consortium wants to build a technology platform for SMEs, with which gaps in the virtual product and process optimization along the entire value cycle are identified and closed through simulation
This year’s technology conference “elmug4future” is dedicated to the main topics “Condition, Health and Quality Monitoring – Sensors, Methods and Applications”. In the comcenter Brühl Erfurt, the CiS Research Institute will be represented with exciting presentations on current development results
The “VIPO growth core”, a joint research project funded by the German government with seven million euros, is currently being launched. VIPO stands for virtual product and process optimization. The aim is to capture virtual production through simulation. The CiS Research Institute is one of the three participating science partners
