The city cycling competition starts today. The aim is to cycle as many everyday kilometers as possible during the 21-day campaign period. The motivated team of the CiS Research Institute, currently with 16 members, is taking on the competition until 1st September 2024. For every 1,000 kilometers cycled, the Erfurt Environmental and Nature Conservation Office will sponsor a tree that will be planted in the Erfurt countryside at the end of the campaign.
Anyone who lives, works, belongs to a club or attends a (high) school in Erfurt can take part in the city cycling competition. The invitation link takes you directly to the registration for the CiS Forschungsinstitut team. This year, as in previous years, we hope to add at least 3,000 kilometers to the team account.
At the end of the campaign, we will report on how many trees the CiS Forschungsinstitut team was able to cycle. We wish our team a lot of success!
