Fast infrared emitter array for gas sensing applications
In the newly opened research project, IR emitter arrays are developed, which are characterized by high dynamics and simultaneously large beam strength
In the newly opened research project, IR emitter arrays are developed, which are characterized by high dynamics and simultaneously large beam strength
The newly launched research project is dedicated to the development of inkjet printing processes as well as a galvanic deposition process for the production of infrared emitters for high temperature applications up to 800°C
The international conference CICMT starts tomorrow in Vienna. The CiS Research Institute together with VIA electronic GmbH will present current research results of the HIPS growth core with test wafers and test setups for application in industrial automation in the accompanying trade exhibition
The Hannover Messe will take place next week for the first time again as a presence event at the fairgrounds in Hannover. In Hall 3 at the Thuringian joint booth H08, the CiS Research Institute will present current development results from May 30 to June 2, 2022. At the industrial fair we will show two demonstrators for the determination of the operating power of as well as for the detection of the CO2 concentration in gases by means of NDIR sensor technology
Together with CiS Forschungsinstitut für Mikrosensorik GmbH, 5microns GmbH and Siegert TFT Thinfilm Technology GmbH, Micro-Hybrid Electronic GmbH from Hermsdorf receives the prestigious award for the development of a technology platform for highly reliable NDIR gas sensors
From May 10-12, 2022, Sensor+Test, the world’s leading forum for sensor, measurement and testing technology, will once again be held as a presence event. We look forward to showing interested visitors the latest results of our research and development work at our booth 1-501 in Hall 1 of the Exhibition Center Nuremberg
SAVE THE DATE – In fall 2022, we offer two CiS workshops on current research trends and their implementation in customer-specific R&D projects. On October 13, 2022, the MEMS Workshop will focus on development trends in piezoresistive silicon pressure sensors. On November 9, the already third NDIR sensor technology MOEMS workshop will take place
We are very pleased to be back in San Francisco next week as an exhibitor in the German Pavilion at SPIE Photonics West and to be able to present the latest development results
InnoCON, the flagship event for the implementation and further development of the Thuringian Innovation Strategy, has just started. Steffen Biermann presents the joint project “IR sources for modern gas sensors”. Together with CMOS IR GmbH, the CiS Research Institute has developed a technology for the production of miniaturized IR emitters. Dr. Klaus Ettrich is the contact person for “H2 pressure sensors”. In the consortium HYPOS the CiS Research Institute developed a hydrogen resistant MEMS based pressure sensor, which can be used as a component in a H2 multisensor system that determines not only the pressure but also the temperature, residual gases and the concentration of hydrogen
At the IVAM joint booth in Hall 13, we will present our development highlights under the slogan “Microsensors for tomorrow’s world” at Compamed 2021 in Düsseldorf. Dr. Martin Schädel reports on “Optical Blood Pressure Monitoring with PPG Sensors” at the COMPAMED HIGH-TECH Forum by IVAM
