The speakers Dr. Martin Schädel, Business Unit Manager MOEMS, and Dr. Andreas Winzer, Department Manager MOEMS, presented another online webinar on July 14, 2021, this time on the topic of “3D structured photodiodes”.
In the webinar, which lasted just under an hour, Dr. Andreas Winzer and Dr. Martin Schädel used illustrative examples to report on the variety of new optical sensor solutions using technologies for 3D processing of silicon. In this context, 3D structuring options in the semiconductor enable a new approach that not only raises the degree of miniaturization but also the performance of optical assemblies to a higher level.
